Car Supports Family Style Dining

Tuesday, February 18, 2003

In a startling move during the snowstorm which pounded the Northeast Monday, Mr. Whippy the famous Chevy Cavalier announced his full support for dining "Family Style." Family style dining is the traditional mode of dining in most cultures where people share numerous dishes at a table.

"I know cars don't have stomachs, but humans do, and I think we should set a good example." In an official statement, Whippy proclaimed "Family Style" the "Only Style" and cited the benefits of "tasting everything," making dining out a time for "sharing" and "community." The auto was particularly keen on family style dining on dates, even first dates, "When you share your food, you share your life."

This official position from the Whippy camp comes close on the heels of the newly released encyclical "My Plate is My Plate" by international race car driver and spokesmodel Hasseldorfer, which caused quite a debate about the relationship between cars and fine dining.
