Josh Cole Prepares to Move to DC

Wednesday, May 14, 2003

It was announced this week that Josh Cole, the pioneer of both anarchoustic and hobophonic music, will be relocating to Washington, DC during the summer of 2003.

In an official statement Tuesday, Cole claimed that he was making the move to be closer to his alter-egos, namely Lefty, The Metaninja and The Dread Pirate Bristol(who has recently gone on a sabbatical from his prosperous looting enterprises).

As was reported last June, The Metaninja had his poetic license revoked for invoking too many repetitions of a single consonant. He subsequently moved to DC to lobby for the decriminalization of alliteration and its purposeful, powerful, poetic punch.

There are also persistent rumors circulating that the foundations of several buildings in the District were heard calling out the name of The Metaninja whose penetrating poses of poetry and persuasion have long been thought to be a boon those in need.

When asked about these rumors, Cole said merely, "When you hear about one building screaming, you might forget it. Two, you might shrug it off. But when several buildings are all crying out for the poetic ministerings of an alter-ego you have to take a serious look at things."
